Terms and Conditions of Business
The term; Therapist refers to the Clinical Hypnotist, Helen
Lock, holder of LCCH Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis.
The term; Client refers to the person seeking treatment from
the Therapist.
The Therapist agrees to provide treatment for the presenting
symptom in accordance with the guidelines set by the British
Society of Clinical Hypnosis and the London College of
Clinical Hypnosis.
The Therapist agrees to act in a professional manner in
accordance with the Code of Conduct laid down by the British
Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
It is understood by both the Therapist and Client that no
absolute cure can be offered or guaranteed.
The Therapist undertakes to remain a member of the British
Society of Clinical Hypnosis or other recognized
professional body, and to maintain client confidentiality,
except in cases where another persons welfare or life is at
risk of injury or death. In cases of criminal injury to
another, it is also understood that details may be disclosed
to police, social services, etc.
The Therapist agrees to do their best possible for the
Client, in the shortest number of sessions, whilst always
keeping the Clients’ welfare at heart.
The Client agrees to disclose any and all information
regarding past and present medical symptoms, medication,
differing from usual physical or mental abilities, which may
or may not have a bearing on the treatment given. In the
event of medication or conditions not being disclosed by the
Client to the Therapist, no responsibility for any side
effects will be taken by the Therapist.
The Client agrees to the sharing of relevant information
between such medical professionals as may be necessary.
The Client agrees to pay all fees due at the time of
treatment by cash, or cheque supported by bankers card, in
the unlikely event of a treatment not being effective no
refunds will be made.
A cancellation fee of £30 is payable for all cancellations
made 24 hours or less from the appointment time;
this being waived at the discretion of the Therapist should
the cancelled time be booked by another patient. Clients
more than 10 minutes late for appointments will be
considered as failing to keep their appointment and will be
charged accordingly, session cannot be conducted in less
than 1 hour and would otherwise conflict with the next
appointment.
